This song by Gungor deals primarily with the Genesis account of creation, however in 2 Corinthians 4:6, Paul compares the Light that first exploded into the universe at creation with the Light that shines into a heart that comes to trust in Jesus Christ as Savior. Salvation is an act of God, and when He chooses to shine “the light of the knowledge of the glory of God” into a human soul – Life is born.
I wanted this video to be almost a visual “prayer” for the salvation of whoever is watching. As Michael and Lisa Gungor sing, “let there be light”, that is also my prayer for whoever God causes to see this video.
